But why won't it run using /etc/rc.d/tor ? /etc/rc.d/tor starts tor as a daemon, in which case it can't log to stderr (which is the default, I think), so it will fail without having a place to log to. Adjust /usr/pkg/etc/tor/torrc with a proper Log option and it should work just fine. -Jan -- Fate, it seems, is not without a sense of irony.
