Yes, apologies. It was a commit which was done hastly.
However, those types of changes occasionally happen.
The explanation in this case is simple after I'm more awake now.
Diffoscope tells me that the only difference was the name of the
root folder inside the archive (diff attached).
No external source to blame but only what I pointed the GITLAB_TAG to
when I changed to GITLAB_TAG usage in that package.
