     Just because it builds doesn't mean it will be useful.  This type
of thing is very much system dependent and needs to be able to work
with various kernel interfaces.  A perfect example is the version of
Racoon (which implements ISAKMP) which comes with NetBSD doesn't work
with NetBSD's kernel.  That compiles and runs fine, but in some cases
you end up with a non-functioning connection.  Of course, that's an
entirely seperate issue from this.  It only serves to make the point
that for something like this, building (and running) isn't the only
criteria.
