 After you wrote gnustep is building, it's still failing on bulk build 
 reports, including this x86_64 NetBSD one from 9 Dec:

 That one used gcc.
 
 I was serious when I said it said it was failing everywhere, I checked 
 several bulk reports.  However, Joerg's last clang report from 8 
 december doesn't show it failed:

 I started a build at home yesterday, hopefully I will have a new report 
 to check gnustep status soon.
