 You're getting a lot more -W* options than I do, so they must be
 coming from somewhere... dunno what other vector to suggest though.
 
 Worst case you can hack it by adding
 
 BUILDLINK_TRANSFORM+=  rm:-Werror
 
 since fixing readline probably isn't in the cards
