 Hi Julio,
 Actually, I find NOGCCERROR very useful. I sometimes build
 packages with the Intel C++ compiler (wip/icc - it works on NetBSD)
 and it prints much more warnings than gcc. I think most people who
 use -Werror test it only on gcc and NOGCCERROR would be useful
 for alternative compilers.
 I've checked my local copy of mk/wrapper/transform-icc-cc and I
 simply discard -Werror unconditionally.
 Pkgsrc has a framework in place for ignoring/not ignoring
 options, why not use it?
 May me it's time for a post on tech-pkg ...
