 If you grep the existing Makefiles, you will see that some of them
 explicitly define support for this option.  But it doesn't seem to be
 widespread.  Maybe you want to bring this up in tech-pkg@ to see if
 it's worth to generalize the option?  (That said, I presume it's
 trivial to do this on your own by defining some form of
 BUILDLINK_TRANSFORM in mk.conf.)
