   | In my personal opinion ogle should be just removed. It's dead long time
   | already (0.9.2 was released 6 years ago).

I don't know anything about ogle development, but it's always slightly amusing
to me that in the software world we tend to treat "hasn't had any changes
in N years" as meaning 'dead' where in any other environment it would mean
 'finished'...

Unlike the packages that are the subject of many of the PR's I file though,
ogle I actually use, as a DVD player for me, it "just works". I have no
doubt that mplayer would also work, but my chances of ever becoming fluent
in mplayer are about as high as my chances at ever becoming fluent in speaking
Finnish, and if anything, the latter would probably be easier (at least
there I know what I want to say, whereas mplayer is full of stuff that is,
to me, meaningless ... I have no idea where to even start.)

So, it would be nice if ogle were made to compile again - and since the
problem seems to just be a strange option to cc, "fixing" it just means
not using that option, right? That could be done as a first step, while
someone works out just what options might give better performance, and actually
 are supported...
