 You're right, except that sorry, no, I don't.   I just build things
 to see if they build, I don't actually have the vaguest idea what
 net/argus does (except that it's probably related to networking, and
 that I could read its DESCR file for (usually) some kind of hint).
 
 Aside from that, I know nothing about it at all - I just build lots of
 packages so I can see what builds (and so should I see somewhere a
 message like "try net/argus, it should give you the info you want" (addressed
 to me, or someone else) I can quickly give it a go if it looks to be
 providing something useful (I've actually had that happen a few times,
 though it was never argus...).
 
 As far as I'm concerned, either "mark it as broken" or "remove it" would
 be suitable actions to take on the PR - my point in sending the PR (and many
 of the others I send, but not all) is just to make sure that people are aware
 of the problems, as I tend to build things in slightly unusual ways (supported
 ways in general, but often not the same as a bulk build would do it for
 example) and so I can uncover build bugs that might otherwise go unnoticed.
