Hmm, could you please try to update your pkgsrc tree and try again?
I have a slight idea of what may be happening, but I can't reproduce the
issue locally.  It is possible that it is already fixed because of all
the changes done lately in db4.  (Make sure you have up to date db4 and
openldap packages).  Thanks.
