Hello,

I cannot get run sound over network with esound/esd on NetBSD (i386 and
xen). My call for help on netbsd-help provides some more details:

	http://mail-index.netbsd.org/netbsd-help/2006/05/28/0000.html

This is tested with NetBSD 3.0 and 3.99.5, between two PCs. The network
works and the soundcards are supported (local sound is fine on both PCs,
even with esound). Esound and xmms-esound are packages from
pkgsrc-2006Q1.

It works between two Linux PCs, but sound output always fails from NetBSD
to Linux or from Linux to NetBSD.

So as esound/esd doesn't work on NetBSD - maybe something wrong with the
esound package, maybe something wrong with NetBSD - are there any working
alternatives for sound over network?

Many thanks & Greetings, Mark Weinem
