While this would be Really Cool(tm), the problems I would see are:

a) The PSX1 has only 1 Meg of memory.
b) It may or may not have an MMU.

However..  if it does indeed have an MMU..  it would not be a waste of time to
port to this.. because it would give us an excellent stepping stone to the PSX2.
