I never got that far, but the utility shell from sysinst reports
NetBSD 11.0_RC3 (GENERIC) #0: Sat Apr 4 06:08:56 UTC 2026 mkrepro%mkrepro.NetBSD.org@localhost:/usr/src/sys/arch/amd64/compile/GENERIC amd64
That is the installer kernel, though, not the installed kernel from the final machine.
>Description:
I'm trying to install a VM on top of Proxmox from the 11.0_RC3/amd64 ISO. I have the blank VM boot from the ISO, which takes me into sysinst. I partition the drives, and ask for a full (or full-no-X11) installation, and tell sysinst to use the ISO for the installation sets.
After installing the sets kern-GENERIC, modules, and base, sysinst reports
Release set base32 does not exist. [Hit enter to continue]
So either sysinst incorrectly believes it needs that set, or the set needs to be provisioned on the ISO.
... unless I'm missing something obvious.
Thanks for all good work!
