>Description:
Raspberry Pi NetBSD Audio volume control does not work.
Used:
1. audioctl -w play.gain
and
2. mixerctl -w outputs.master
to change the volume. Looks like the setting was accepted as audioctl and
mixerctl both show the new value for them. But the volume does not have any
change.
I tried this with my audio application via ioctl and it shows the same symptom.
>How-To-Repeat:
1. audioctl -w play.gain=2
2. audioctl -a and check the play.gain value is set to 2
3. play some audio clip . For ex. audioplay
/usr/pkg/share/mikutter/core/skin/data/sounds/mikutter-se.wav
4. Listen to the audio volume
5. audioctl -w play.gain=222
6. audioctl -a and check the play.gain value is set to 222
7. play some audio clip . For ex. audioplay
/usr/pkg/share/mikutter/core/skin/data/sounds/mikutter-se.wav
4. Again Listen to the audio volume and notice no change in volume.
