 Ok, I don't know that installer, but obviously it does not know NetBSD
 either. It is probably easiest to use a native USB install image like
 
   
http://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-6.0.1/images/NetBSD-6.0.1-amd64-install.img.gz
 
 You can write it to your USB memory device either with dd if you are using a
 unix like OS already, or with Rawrite32 if you use windows. The latter
 you can get here: http://www.netbsd.org/~martin/rawrite32/
