NetBSD mercy 6.0.1 NetBSD 6.0.1 (GENERIC) macppc

The command "last" puts out what looks like line noise. When I copy over the
binary - /usr/bin/last - from a 5.0.2 system, it works fine.
Run last(1) without arguments.
