 Under 6.0_BETA the controller where the cd0 drive is attached is
 driven by ahcisata(4), under 5.1.2 it's driven by pciide(4).
 Can you confirm that this is a SATA DVD drive and not PATA ?
 
 if yes, please #define AHCI_DEBUG and set ahcidebug_mask to 0xff in
 sys/dev/ic/ahcisata_core.c and send me the resulting dmesg.
