 I did and the interrupt load disappeared. I have tested with 5.0.2 and
 -current. Both works much better now.
 
 It was the option: "USB mouse support" in the BIOS, that when enabled
 resulted in high interrupt load. It seems that 'shutdown -p now' also
 works. Earlier it just stopped after the message: "acpi0: entering state 5".
