 Well, i'm not sure about your question because this is related to pr 
 report 38548. It was fixed by Mr. Bouyer, but arised in NetBSD5  RC 
 though i confirmed that this exists on installation CD --- after 
 installing NetBSD it works without problem.
 
 Also, please note that 'boot netbsd -1' works while 'boot netbsd -2' 
 not, using installation CD.
