>Description:
        a build.sh release of curnent is failing (has been for several
        days at least, in amongst the occasional other problems).

        This one looks unlreated to time_t changes...

>How-To-Repeat:
        I started with a completely empty DESTDIR (aside from the
        sources that live in $DESTDIR/usr/src - that and its sub-trees
        is all that exists, xsrc is a sub-dir of src).

        Similarly, with a completely empty obj tree (the root of that
        tree existed, nothing else).

        Building with ...

env -i \
        PATH=/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin \
                "USER=$USER" \
                "HOME=$EMPTY" \
                "LOGNAME=$LOGNAME" \
                "DISPLAY=$DISPLAY" \
                "MAKECONF=/dev/null" \
        /bin/sh build.sh "$@" \
                -V "CHECKFLIST_FLAGS=-e"                \
                        -D "${TARGET}"                  \
                        -O "/usr/obj/${REL}"            \
                        -R "${SNAP}"                    \
                        -T "/usr/obj/${REL}/tools"      \
                        -X "${TARGET}/usr/src/xsrc"     \
                -u -x                                   \
                        iso-image

        EMPTY is a newly created empty directory (mktemp -d)
        REL="current"  TARGET=$DESTDIR (/release/current if
        it matters). Current directory is $TARGET/usr/src.
        "$@" is empty (no args).

Build continues as normal until ...

rm -f keymap.dir
