 And this _is_ a port-sparc PR.

 Which is fine; let those ports' installboots (or, rather, installboot
 when run for such a port) impose corresponding restrictions.  There's
 no reason sparc needs to be (or should be) saddled with i386's
 restrictions, any more than conversely.
