Re: kern/39334: Console font characters disappearing in NetBSD-current

Description:
On the console, characters are disappearing magically. All characters of the
same value are disappearing at a time, and new characters of that type don't
come back in later input.

As an example, if a "." disappears from the hostname, all "."s on the entire
screen disappear at the same time. In later output of e.g. make, the dots are missing as well.

I might be mistaken about that one, but it seems that if output is scrolling
through a lot, the process of disappearing is slowed down.

A video for the unbelieving can be found at

How-To-Repeat:
Switch to the console and wait some time.

I have also noticed this behaviour from time to time after updating from xf86-video-intel-2.1.1 to some 2.3.x or 2.4.0 release (can't remember now).

Cheers,
Jared
