  From my memory (happened seven years ago!):
 At this time my machine was the only one with NetBSD. We had a SGI NFS 
 file server with NIS authentification. I had an acount on this maschine 
 and the administrator made the changes needed to have my machine 
 mounting the exported directory. There was no error during mount but 
 when trying to access a directory or file I got the error message shown 
 in the PR. We tried the same with a SunOS machine and it was just 
 working as expected. Because there was no responce I gave up with this. 
 Nowadays I cannot check this anymore.
