I think that editing the wiki via web browsers is at the moment

wrong!).

I don't think this is true. I just ran `kinit schmonz%NETBSD.ORG@localhost` on my Mac, navigated to the Events page, clicked "Edit", and found myself in the familiar textarea.

To be thorough, I then ran `destroy`, found "Preferences | Logout" at bottom of page, clicked "Logout", and tried again without Kerberos. I was prompted for HTTP basic auth, and entering my Kerberos username and password took me again to the textarea.

Jun, is it possible that you had logged in with an OpenID before attempting to edit the Events page? An OpenID is sufficient for leaving comments, but not for editing pages. Try going to the bottom of any page, clicking "Preferences | Logout", clicking the "Logout" button. Then go back to the page you want to edit and see if you're prompted (as you should be) for HTTP-auth username and password.

Please let me know whether you can get logged in to edit. If not, there's something for me to debug and fix. :-)
