Log Message:
 * Add a link to our "how to write a SoC application" page in the
   "SoC is now open" news item - it will make our lives easier to have
   data on how student projects integrate into NetBSD when sorting
   out "good" applications.
 * Add data on the deadline for SoC proposals: May 8th, 17PST
