I just installed NetBSD-9_STABLE/i386 on a ThinkPad T41 and selected to enable xdm and create a user.
On boot xdm fires up, but if I try to login it just gives the "Session Menu" popup, followed by a black screen whatever is picked.
What is supposed to be happening here?
Normally I'd just create a .xsession file, but this seems like a bad initial experience for users.
