Is XF86 4.5 from xsrc still too new to be safely used yet? I built/installed
it today (from xsrc, not build.sh -x), and it seemed to be unaware that my
monitor was able to do 1280x1024. No matter what I put in XF86Config, and
even more puzzling, no matter where I put XF86Config, it would start at
1024x768, 24-bit. Even when 1024x768 wasn't listed in the XF86Config it
loaded!

I've downgraded to 4.4.0 which I luckily still had sitting around in binary
set format... Any ideas?
