A number of (PC) chip drivers have not yet been ported to 4.x, so
it's probably premature to upgrade wholesale.

The number is decreasing, though, so I suspect waiting for 4.1 or
so, and then just going with that might make sense. Maintaining
both versions in xsrc would like be painful.

Not sure how much work, if any, is required to make the non-PC
ddxen work with 4.x.
