fsck's -T option syntax

What's the intended way to pass "-x /var/db" to fsck_ffs from fsck?
The manpage made me think that "-Tffs:-x,/var/db" was the right thing, 
but that passes "-x -o /var/db". Is this a bug or a feature?

Yes, I can circumvent this with "-Tffs:-x/var/db", which passes "-x/var/db".
