Re: crash(8) version incompatibility after update



-u usually works just fine. Problems do occur occassionally, especially if source file gets replaced by a directory, or vice-versa.

I just use -u all the time, and if something goes wrong then I manually clean up and retry.

with -u? all sorts of problems can creep in, if the structure of some
program changes. ... When in doubt, rm -rf the objdir first.
