mount_psshfs segfaults on 5.1

Hi. mount_psshfs permanently segfaults on 5.1.
It is actually unsuable.
Can I send PR or it will not be fixed in 5.1 or 5.2 (if it happens)?
As far as I can see huge amount of changes were made in current in it.
Does it make sense (is it possible?) to backport mount_psshfs
from current to netbsd-5 branch?
