Peter's argument that csh(1) is not standardized is persuasive.  So
therefore I'd go for /bin/sh which aims to be compliant with the basic
Bourne shell posix rules, in order to meet the Principle of Least
Astonishment among the set of people who know what is in standards and
value them.   Among those who expect bash, at least basic hand-typed
for loops will work as they expect...
