i'd like to propose to replace our gzip(1) with openbsd's compress(1).
because, IMO, it's far better structured than ours.
   i put it on ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/yamt/ocompress/.

   any opinions?

i don't really care what happens as long as the feature set isn't
broken. that includes -DSMALL version of gzip for install media
that isn't really any bigger, bzip2 support, complete compat with
GNU gzip, and probably more i can't remember. when i last looked
at openbsd compress none of these were true.
