I've been trying to understand (mostly in vain) the differences between
Linux's OSS sound driver and the NetBSD version. This is a problem
because sound-effects in Frotz work fine under Linux, but play slowly and
are filled with scratches and pops under NetBSD. Where is a a decent
reference for using the OSS driver such that a program will work on *BSD
as well as Linux?
