nc is a small utility for copying data across TCP
connections (both IPv4 and IPv6). It can open a connection
to a remote host or listen for a connection. In either
case, it copies data from the standard input stream to the
remote host and copies data from the remote host to the
standard output stream. nc is useful on its own as a
debugging and ex- ploration tool as well as a back-end tool
that can easily be driven by other programs and scripts.
