A clarification on this point:  "Binaries need to be recompiled" is usually
fine for one -current date to another within one release.  However, once a
structure or function has been in a released NetBSD version, its ABI is
fixed, for compatibility purposes.  (That's why __RENAME() exists for
functions.)
