	Hello,

I recently switched from manual account copy to NIS in my local network.
Now I get error messages like this from "/etc/security":

Checking the /etc/master.passwd file:
[...]
Login +tron has non-alphanumeric characters.
Login +tron has no password.
Login +tron does not have a valid shell ()
Login +tron has a negative user id.
Login +tron has a negative group id.

Checking for special users with .rhosts files.
+tron: -rw------- 1 tron krull 39 Nov 12 13:27:37 2000
+/homes/lyssa/tron/.rhosts

Checking .rhosts files syntax.
+tron: + in .rhosts file.

Checking home directories.
user +tron home directory is owned by tron

All this is caused by this line in "/etc/master.passwd":
+tron:::::::::/homes/lyssa/tron

Is "/etc/security" really that broken or do I need to configure it
for NIS?

	Kind regards
