I fully agree and like the new rc.d system.
It took my a while to understand the new rc.subr, but I think I now
understand it.

You never need to edit rc.conf. /etc/rc.local.conf is enough.

Is is possible to write rc scripts which don't need modifications
in rc.conf or rc.local.conf.
