I've wondered every now and then about the reason for having the pid
file on the command line, and now this.  These parameters can be easily
placed inside the config file - the documentation already mentions
this in the "Configuring Your Server or Client" section, albeit with
/etc/ntp.drift but that's easy to fix.

I know this is easy to override, but am curious for the reasoning...
