This is useless bloat to just about everybody on a 1-user machine.  I also
believe it's contrary to the goals of the project; it essentially starts us
down the path of being a kitchen sink for everybody's pet
{shell,editor,interpreter/compiler,file browser,etc.}.  ``That's what pkgsrc
is for.''
