6.1_STABLE build problem

I've tried to build.sh a 6.1_STABLE from just now and I run into
	/usr/obj/usr.bin/ldd/elf32/libldd_elf32.a: No such file or directory
when linking rescue/rescue.
Of course I gave a -O to build.sh and it built for a while before emitting 
that error. I'm now running with /usr/obj being a symlink to my actual objdir,
but it should work without, shouldn't it?
Any clues?
