We have one [see backtrace(3)], but gcc configury does not pick it up
(neither does the native FSF compiler build nor pkgsrc, AFAIK). Fixing
that and reporting the changes upstream would be great.

Definitively (I would vote for just one: the crash).
With MKDEBUG=yes and MKDEBUGLIB=yes it is pretty easy to get more info out
of cc1plus and the core.
