Subject: cross compiling from Solaris x86 is busted .... again...

Cross compiling tools from Solaris x86 using

./build.sh -T ${TOOLSDIR} -m i386 tools kernel=GENERIC

fails bootstrapping tools.

I've fixed this in the past, but it is getting kind of tiresome fixing
cross-building of tools, and quite honestly, they are obnoxious to track
down mostly because I don't fully understand the gcc reachover stuff.

Can someone please test cross compiles from Solaris x86? Solaris x86 is
a free download, can run in a VMware virtual machine, and if that
doesn't work, I can probably provide a shell account on my system.

Thank-you.
