Is there any information available on using <bsd.hostprog.mk> in third
party sources? I have a rather extensive bsd-mk-ified project here, and
it's actually able to come pretty close to automagic cross-buildability
and so forth except for the question of cross-building.

I'm already jumping through some hoops in terms of cross-platform
compat, so I don't think I need the whole libcompat route, just want to
be able to populate a tools dir with a few tools needed in the build
process.

Any pointers? I've looked at how this is used in our sources, but was
wondering if there's a `simple case' of how to do this...
