Because of BSDSRCDIR/BSDOBJDIR/MAKEOBJDIRPREFIX interactions?

We need an objdir in "src" for other purposes (including what I'm working on
as I type this:  autorestart of build phases), and I do intend to add the
necessary support.  Once that's done, it's all clear sailing.

Please respond to me off-list if you have some tech details on this front
that you'd like to expound on.
