Which I strongly advise you not do, as the new bfd/ld combo has issues with
generating shared libraries which will probably hose your system (I'm in the
process of getting this written up and will send here soon).

Also, you'll by default get a little-endian-default toolchain, which is not
really what you want on the SGI 8-).  I've sent patches to fix this to Todd,
but haven't heard a yea/nay on them (they were based on some patches Izumi
Tsutsui did for the old toolchain).
