I did the port of 2.95.3 for PowerPC, and posted the patches here,
and asked for help submitting them back to the GCC crowd, and
got a resounding....nothing.  (Unfortunately, I don't have the time
to commit anymore, now.)

I'd suggest getting the changes submitted, then building the compiler
out of their CVS "current" branch.
