may have changed something? A kernel built with today's sup source, and 1 Oct
egcs 1.1 does't give signal 11s, but rather:

/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/egcs/common/../../../dist/gcc/loop.c:2393: Internal compiler error in function find_and_verify_loops

At least it's "different" !
