is from Nov 17, at about 5 AM. An i386 kernel built from those sources was
able to successfully host a 'make build' and maketars from a second build
with DESTDIR, but I haven't tested the DESTDIR-built binaries yet. The
compiler is egcs-1.1.1 but (oops) I can't remember if that was installed
by this round or the previous one.

The machine has been up for 4 days, but hasn't been doing much since the
builds because I've been whacking my head on arm32.
