Some fun :-) :-( from using egcs 1.1. on a mac68k:

I don't know whether or not you'll be able to see the real picture in the
df output below, but here it is:

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on=02/dev/sd0a =
    28943    19755     6293    75%    /=02/dev/sd0g      318942   240367   =
 46680    83%    /usr=02/dev/sd0f     1898859  1639804   164112    90%    /=
home=02

The problem is that all newlines are replaced by CTRL/B's.

This is on a mac68k with the new EGCS 1.1.

 - egcs was completely rebuilt overnight
 - /usr/src/bin was rebuilt completely this morning with this egcs (incl. d=
f)
 - /usr/lib was rebuilt completely yesterday, i.e. with a slightly older
   egcs, but now I'll rebuild all libraries and then again df to see
   if this makes a change.
 - If it makes any difference, the kernel is also built with egcs on Aug 20.
